Talent Release Forms

These are our talent release forms for our music video. This is to prove that all of the people featured in the music videos are willingly committed to the project, and have not been forced to partake in the shooting of our music video.

Advert Designs

These are my group's advert designs for our pop group's advertisement. This is to help us gain a clearer understanding of what our group should do for our advertisement. My advert design (the one which says Threedom) is outdated, due to name of our pop group. Once I had finished the advertisement, my group found a new band name: Miss Melody, and it was too late to change the name of the pop group once I had finished the design.

Location Permission Letter

These are emails my group has sent to Morden Hall Park, London South Bank and Brighton, the locations we're planning to use for our music video. A location permission letter is needed to gain permission from the places we're planning to film in to avoid issues with when filming our music video.

Track Permission Letter

These are emails my group has sent to EMI, Innocent Records and Virgin Records, the record labels who have signed Atomic Kitten. A track permission letter is needed to gain permission from the record label to avoid copyright issues with the label, so we are able to film our music video without hassle.

CD Cover Ideas

These are three ideas for CD covers my group have come up with. We decided to choose 'Threedom' as the name for our fictional pop group, as there are three members of the group. We have also decided to use bright colours for the CD cover, as pop singers are known for being bright and colourful.

We have now decided to change the name of our band from Threedom to Miss Melody, as it relates to music, has catchy alliteration and sounds innocent.

Shooting Schedule

This is my group's shooting schedule. We plan on using this to help us remember what days we are shooting, where to shoot, what to use for props/costumes and what to use as equipment.

Location Shots

Bridge

My group are planning on using the bridge in the music video, as that will be the location where the girls in my group's pop band will meet up, just before they begin lip-synching to the song. We plan to film shots that feature the bridge early in the morning, as that is the most likely time where the sun will be shining, making the day brighter. This is good for a conventional pop music video, as brightness and vibrancy are typically featured in conventional music videos.

Bedrooms

In the very beginning of our music video, my group will feature shots of the girl band waking up in their bedrooms, signifying the start of the day. The walls of the bedroom are evidently bright pink, featuring a lot of colour that is very conventional of a pop music video. We are planning to feature three bedrooms for the music video, one bedroom for each girl that is in the music video.

London (morning)

London (evening)

Our group chose London as a location because it features many landmarks that are cherished by many people across the world. In the morning, the girl group will lip-sync to the song, dancing and just overall having a good time, which will enforce the idea of positivity and having fun to a younger audience. In the evening, this is the final location of the song, since that signifies the end of the day. Our group will try to incorporate as many bright lights from this location as possible, keeping with the bright and vibrant theme of the song.

Brighton

Our group chose Brighton Beach and Brighton Pier as locations because beaches and piers are known for being locations that will make people feel happy. We will use this location in our music video when featuring the girls lip-synching, doing choreography and just having a good time.

Test shots

These are test shots that we filmed in order to experiment with angles and colour. We filmed using our first location which is the bridge where we will be showing the sunset. We filmed myself and Libby meeting up. We increased both the contrast and saturation in order to emphasise our concept of colour and to create a happy atmosphere.

This is our updated version of our test shots. This now features the soundtrack for our music video.

Animatic Storyboard

This is my group's animatic storyboard. The purpose of our animatic storyboard is to plan for which shots should be added into our music video, and when the shots should be added into the music video. It will make our group more certain of what locations and costumes should be featured in the video. Additionally, when creating our animatic storybord, my group and I would try to match the shots to the rhythm of the soundtrack, which helps us for what we will do when actually creating our music video.

This is our final Animatic storyboard. We improved this by adding more creative shot angles, and also making sure that the editing was cut to beat

Our music video will feature a higher quality version of "Feel's So Good".
